Class is taught by our Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt instructors Georgie and David who combined, have over 15+ years' experience in training Jiu-Jitsu.
What is Jiu-Jitsu?
Jiu-Jitsu is a Martial Art and combat sport that originated in Japan. Jiu-Jitsu emphasizes grappling techniques, particularly on the ground, where practitioners use joint locks, chokeholds, and positional control to submit or control an opponent. Jiu-Jitsu prioritizes technique, leverage, and strategy over raw strength, making it effective for individuals of all sizes.

What to Wear
A Jiu-Jitsu Gi is required for Jiu-Jitsu class. Underneath your Gi we recommend wearing comfortable and functional clothing. This includes an athletic top or rash guard, fitness bottom, minimal/no jewelry, and no shoes.
