Class is taught by our Black Belt instructors Sensei Wilfredo and Georgie who combined, have over 50+ years' experience in training Judo.

What is Judo?

Judo is a Japanese martial art and Olympic sport that emphasizes throws, grappling, and submission techniques, with a focus on using an opponent's energy and momentum to gain advantage.

Techniques Taught in Class:

  • Throws, Sweeps and Takedowns

  • Groundwork / Grappling

  • Cardio and Sports Conditioning

What to Wear

A Judo Gi / Kimono is required for Judo class. Underneath your Judo Gi we recommend wearing comfortable and functional clothing. This includes athletic tops, fitness bottom, minimal/no jewelry and no shoes.
